Mary Junck to be Chairman of the AP, this is BAD News for NEWS Everywhere..

The AP takes a Story, Such as the Crystal L. Cox Blogger sued story, writes up one version of reality then sends it to ALL media outlets and the TV news who uses that same story without every looking into any of the documented facts.

Questions and Information Sent in By Reader.
"Mary Junck has been named to lead the AP Board. Looking at the 2010 financial report for AP I find that they reported a loss of $14,722,000 for 2010.

They also ended their defined benefit pension plan for new Employees on Jan 15,2006. Further, they have engaged in aggressive staff cutting measures. IF I am reading the income tax accounting correctly (and I'm NOT sure) , the AP didn't pay income taxes in 2010 and instead collected $7,762,000 in "welfare benefits" from the taxpayers.

I also see under Long term debt they have a revolving credit line of $200M - HMM... could this be used to keep LEE Ent. going by reducing AP costs to LEE newspapers while the AP goes into debt?

Might Mary Junck be able to raid the pension plan assets of the AP to use creatively to assist LEE with on-going income requirements?"

This is Disastrous, Lee Enterprises funds corruption by printing lies, and paid by politics and big companies to cover up crimes.. in my experience.  Lee Enterprise is the Kingpin of Corruption in towns and cities across this land, in my experience.  Paid to print lies and protect corruption.

Ladue News publisher, editor start new paper

"A group of Ladue News employees have left the St. Louis-area Lee Enterprises lifestyle paper to start a rival publication.

The new Town & Style will debut Feb. 9. Thirty issues are planned for the first year; a weekly schedule is planned after that. It will be led by former Ladue News publisher Lauren Rechand and editor Dorothy Weiner, and will employee about 15 people. Eight more former Ladue News employees have already joined Town & Style.

Weiner told the St. Louis Business Journal that Lee's corporate structure forced her, and several other Ladue News employees, to leave that publication.

"There's no question that Lee Enterprises, the parent company (of Ladue News), is very bottom-line focused," she said. "Ladue News has always been something of a family business. Even after it was sold to Pulitzer, we were left alone and we were allowed to run independently. Recently, there is more of a shift to (Lee) homogenizing all holdings in St. Louis. That was what people rebelled against."

Lee Enterprises Protects Corrupt Politicians, Judges, County Attorneys and More in the State of Montana - Lee Enterprises - Lee Newspaper Chain Montana

Lee Enterprises soon to be named in a Federal RICO Lawsuit over a Montana Corruption Ring lasting Decades.  Lee Enterprises has a monopoly on the so called news in the State of Montana and Lee Enterprises seems to be above the Law, Above the Constitution and Answer to No One.

Lee Enterprises Reporters will call you and Lee Enterprises will interview and Lee Enterprises will think it odd that you want to record your call with a Lee Enterprises Reporter though you do NOT have to tell the Lee Enterprises Reporter in Montana that you are Recording the Call, as Montana is a Once Party Consent on the Call Recording issue.

Lee Enterprises know full well that the "Story" they are printing is bought and paid for by Montana Corruption, and when you bring the proof to the attention of Lee Enterprises, well you are the liar, story teller and Lee Enterprises is the AUTHORITY as Lee Enterprises is a major company and well Lee Enterprises has a corner on the news market in Montana, and many in MT still seem to "Believe" that what Lee Enterprises news outlets such as the Missoulian and the Ravalli Republic have to say is True, when in Fact they are the Media and they are protected ... so along with ad revenue, the Lee Enterprises Mafia also takes blood money to keep Montana Victims without Rights and to protect Corrupt Politicians in Montana, Corrupt Montana Judges, Corrupt Montana County Attorneys and to stand by the Criminals instead of the Victims...

Lee Enterprises is on the Wrong Side of the Moral Compass in Every Way.  Lee Enterprises is Corrupt in my opinion and has no intention of bringing you the real news.

Ravalli Republic and Missoulian Are Corrupt - the News is Controlled - Victims LOSE

" Missoulian, Ravalli Republic merge newsrooms

We set off on a new and exciting venture Monday, with the merger of the Missoulian and Ravalli Republic newsrooms.

That means we now have one combined reporting force covering all of western Montana – from Whitefish to Darby – and that’s great news for all our print and online readers.

Both newsrooms are staffed with incredible journalists – reporters, photographers and editors who truly care about their communities, who have a depth of reporting and community experience, and who are committed to their newspapers and their profession.

Here’s the announcement to be published in Tuesday’s Missoulian:

The Missoulian and Ravalli Republic, both newspapers owned by Lee Enterprises, merged their newsrooms on Monday.

The combined news staff will be better able to cover the wide breadth and depth of issues facing western Montanans, while delivering that news across all the delivery platforms available today, in print and online.

Sherry Devlin, editor of the Missoulian, will be editor of both newspapers as part of the change.

Ravalli Republic editor Perry Backus will become a senior reporter headquartered in Hamilton, reporting full-time for both newspapers.

No one was laid off in either newsroom as part of the merger.

In the weeks to come, readers should see an enhanced news report in both the Missoulian and the Ravalli Republic, and on their respective websites.

We’re excited to be able to provide readers of the Missoulian and the Ravalli Republic with a larger, more complete daily news report – and with 24/7 coverage from all of western Montana.

That’s an awesome responsibility, one I think we’re better able to fulfill with our newly expanded newsroom.

Watch our newspapers and websites in the weeks to come. I think you’ll notice some changes that you will like.
