Mary Junck is a Corporation.

One of my favorite quotes by Ralph Nader is how people are corporations diguised as a human being. Mary Junck of Lee Enterprieses is a corporation.

Mary Junck as a Corporation declaring bankruptcy in Deleware
1. Corporations such as Lee Enterprieses are people in the courts.
2. The problem is people have feelings.
3. Lee Enterprises does not have feelings for people or their employees [see Grinch story below].
4. Corporations as people are allowed to hurt real people and then be protected by courts.
5. If corporations hurt people, then people must stop corporations. [Occupy Movement].
In a US District Court for the State of Montana
9:11-cv-00064-JCL-DWM
A US Magistrate Judge on November 30, 2011 found that Lee Enterprises Inc. was liable for Defamation per Se, Negligence, Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress, Tortious Interference with Economic Advantage (intentionally damaging livelihood), and Punitive Damages.
BUT A CORPORATION CAN STOP ALL COURT ACTIONS VIA BANKRUPTCY.
A PERSON CANNOT.
I THOUGHT CORPORATIONS WERE CONSIDERED PERSONS....?
The corporation known as Mary Junck is going bankrupt, and was voted a grinch in 2008:

Mary Junck nominated for Grinch of the Year!

Instead of sending out a nice holiday greeting to all those who had spent their lifetimes building a company for which they could be proud – and she could plunder – Mary Junck’s corporation sent a nice little notice: We’re canceling your free health care.
Editors Note* In June of this year, when their stock price had already been chopped in half, Lee Enterprises awarded CEO Mary Junck a 17.8% increase in pay, to about $3.4 million.
So, for pocketing more and more cash by raiding the health care plans of retired workers and by outsourcing P-D worker’s jobs to India this year, Mary Junck has been nominated for the 2008 Missouri Jobs with Justice’s GRINCH OF THE YEAR!

When reached at her home, Mary became quite excited and started jumping up and down (no she didn’t). She stated that she wanted to “thank all the little people” for making her nomination possible and said that it had long been a dream of hers to win the prestigious award (um…I made that up).
The JwJ Grinch of the Year is chosen by voting – online and at the annual Grinch party. The event is attended by members of the many organizations that comprise JwJ. Our local has purchased two tables for this year and, if you wish to attend, give us a call at 314-241-7046. To learn more (or to vote) click on:
Voting costs (one dollar per vote) and everyone is encouraged to vote as often as they like.

A person can lose their livelihood, Mary Junck can lose 11% of her company from Bankruptcy.
I'll take it.

Note to Lee Enterprises creditors: dont let this "corporation" out of bankruptcy.  With more than a BILLION dollars in debt, that kind of irresponsibiity should not be rewarded.  That, and REAL people dont read corporate newspapers, or listen to any form of corporate media anymore.

Happy Holidays Lee Enterprises & Mary Junck !

The Mary Junck Reader

Davenport, IA--Lee Enterprises a print media company has evaded the axe from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Two warnings have been issued to Lee Enterprises, but apparently the company, which publishes nearly 50 dailies in 23 states, and 300 weekly circulars is getting special treatment.

Update: Mary Junck's Lee files Form 8-K, gets continued listing on NYSE; stock price falls to $.62.

Mary Junck-- Lee Enterprises CEO
no pun intended (her corporation, her papers are junk)

Does it surprise anyone that Marry Junck, CEO of Lee Entrprises based in Davenport Iowa sits on the Associated Press board of directors as vice chair? Is that giving Mary Junck's company special favors in the NYSE listings?  Most companies who cant get their stock price up after 6 months are taken off of the Exchange in New York (NYSE).

Lee Enterprises spends an additional $27M per year towards interest just to pay off their $1B debt, and TRY to stay in business.   It's unclear if the financing deal is complete, but it did not help Lee's stock price rise above the $1 minimum price. Lee Enterprises convinces Seeking Alpha (an online trading/consultant firm) to make Lee a "good buy"; special press in the Wall Street Journal. The bottom line is that Lee cannot keep their stock above minimum trade value.  Why should Mary Junck and Lee Enterpriese get any special favors that other fortune 500, or other publically listed firm get?

We wrote an article about Lee getting its stock price up:

An interesting group of people are meeting up, and assembling in public. They are occupying America. Corporations like Lee Enterprises do more to spread propaganda than help the people. Special favors from Wall Street indicate a boycott on Lee Enterprises newspapers are called for.

One of Lee's victims also assembled in public and was subject to 30 Lee Enterprises articles at the 6 outlets in the state, at least 2 AP stories.  Is Mary Junck the connection to the AP stories?  Well, we made some clarity on their confusion about peaceful assembly, which forced a resignation of a publisher; Stacey Mueller of the Missoula Montana paper The Missoulian:

Ladue News publisher, editor start new paper

"A group of Ladue News employees have left the St. Louis-area Lee Enterprises lifestyle paper to start a rival publication.

The new Town & Style will debut Feb. 9. Thirty issues are planned for the first year; a weekly schedule is planned after that. It will be led by former Ladue News publisher Lauren Rechand and editor Dorothy Weiner, and will employee about 15 people. Eight more former Ladue News employees have already joined Town & Style.

Weiner told the St. Louis Business Journal that Lee's corporate structure forced her, and several other Ladue News employees, to leave that publication.

"There's no question that Lee Enterprises, the parent company (of Ladue News), is very bottom-line focused," she said. "Ladue News has always been something of a family business. Even after it was sold to Pulitzer, we were left alone and we were allowed to run independently. Recently, there is more of a shift to (Lee) homogenizing all holdings in St. Louis. That was what people rebelled against."

Lee Enterprises Protects Corrupt Politicians, Judges, County Attorneys and More in the State of Montana - Lee Enterprises - Lee Newspaper Chain Montana

Lee Enterprises soon to be named in a Federal RICO Lawsuit over a Montana Corruption Ring lasting Decades.  Lee Enterprises has a monopoly on the so called news in the State of Montana and Lee Enterprises seems to be above the Law, Above the Constitution and Answer to No One.

Lee Enterprises Reporters will call you and Lee Enterprises will interview and Lee Enterprises will think it odd that you want to record your call with a Lee Enterprises Reporter though you do NOT have to tell the Lee Enterprises Reporter in Montana that you are Recording the Call, as Montana is a Once Party Consent on the Call Recording issue.

Lee Enterprises know full well that the "Story" they are printing is bought and paid for by Montana Corruption, and when you bring the proof to the attention of Lee Enterprises, well you are the liar, story teller and Lee Enterprises is the AUTHORITY as Lee Enterprises is a major company and well Lee Enterprises has a corner on the news market in Montana, and many in MT still seem to "Believe" that what Lee Enterprises news outlets such as the Missoulian and the Ravalli Republic have to say is True, when in Fact they are the Media and they are protected ... so along with ad revenue, the Lee Enterprises Mafia also takes blood money to keep Montana Victims without Rights and to protect Corrupt Politicians in Montana, Corrupt Montana Judges, Corrupt Montana County Attorneys and to stand by the Criminals instead of the Victims...

Lee Enterprises is on the Wrong Side of the Moral Compass in Every Way.  Lee Enterprises is Corrupt in my opinion and has no intention of bringing you the real news.

Ravalli Republic and Missoulian Are Corrupt - the News is Controlled - Victims LOSE

" Missoulian, Ravalli Republic merge newsrooms

We set off on a new and exciting venture Monday, with the merger of the Missoulian and Ravalli Republic newsrooms.

That means we now have one combined reporting force covering all of western Montana – from Whitefish to Darby – and that’s great news for all our print and online readers.

Both newsrooms are staffed with incredible journalists – reporters, photographers and editors who truly care about their communities, who have a depth of reporting and community experience, and who are committed to their newspapers and their profession.

Here’s the announcement to be published in Tuesday’s Missoulian:

The Missoulian and Ravalli Republic, both newspapers owned by Lee Enterprises, merged their newsrooms on Monday.

The combined news staff will be better able to cover the wide breadth and depth of issues facing western Montanans, while delivering that news across all the delivery platforms available today, in print and online.

Sherry Devlin, editor of the Missoulian, will be editor of both newspapers as part of the change.

Ravalli Republic editor Perry Backus will become a senior reporter headquartered in Hamilton, reporting full-time for both newspapers.

No one was laid off in either newsroom as part of the merger.

In the weeks to come, readers should see an enhanced news report in both the Missoulian and the Ravalli Republic, and on their respective websites.

We’re excited to be able to provide readers of the Missoulian and the Ravalli Republic with a larger, more complete daily news report – and with 24/7 coverage from all of western Montana.

That’s an awesome responsibility, one I think we’re better able to fulfill with our newly expanded newsroom.

Watch our newspapers and websites in the weeks to come. I think you’ll notice some changes that you will like.

Sherry Devlin "
